AN UNMET NEED
I thought it was ridiculous that in this saturated toy market, I couldn’t find a modular toy that allowed my 3 year-old to easily create her own imagined landscape for her figurines – sometimes a jungle, other times a dinoland or a village – in the same way toy tracks allow children to configure their own impressive train networks.
THE OPPORTUNITY
And so, when I was made redundant from my corporate job in 2023, I saw an opportunity – I poured my new-found time, angsty energy, and my severance payout to creative use.
Beevih was thus conceived in our playroom, while trying to follow my children’s plot as they constructed stories with figurines on empty space.
Today, Beevih is built on the core values that have guided my creative journey.
Beautiful
Because our children appreciate, and deserve, beauty – just like us.
Playful
Because we love to have a little giggle – just like our children.
Thoughtful
Because playtime is a time for engagement and creativity.
Ultimately, my goal is to facilitate better play
by providing a beautiful, playful and thoughtful setup.
